The inventors of the highly acclaimed SolarWall® air heating technology are preparing to launch their highly anticipated NightSolar® system. This duel action roof-mounted system will still provide day-time heating, but can now also be used in reverse from sunset to sunrise for nighttime cooling; chilling incoming air by as much as 10 F (5 C) below ambient air temperature. The ability of one technology to generate both heating and cooling energy for buildings represents a tremendous technological achievement that will produce substantial year-round energy savings.

SolarWall® PV/Thermal Technology Wins Renewable Energy World Award

Conserval Engineering has been awarded the 2009 Renewable Energy World Award for Best Building Integrated Renewable for their SolarWall® PV/Thermal (PV/T) technology installed at the new John Molson School of Business at Concordia University in Montreal. The award was presented to Conserval at the opening ceremony of the Renewable Energy World Conference in Austin, Texas on February 23.

The number of plans for developing sustainable energy resources as we face the reality of a global energy crunch are expanding. Many of these plans include crucial elements, which, if combined, would provide us an elemental blueprint for scaling the oil peak, knowing that a solid base camp would be waiting on the other side. However, strong ropes make scaling mountains possible, and no plan to date includes this basic support system.
