REpower, EDF & RES Reach 954-MW Wind Deal

REpower Systems AG has signed a framework contract with EDF Energies Nouvelles and RES Canada for the delivery of up to 954 megawatts of wind turbines, which will be used for five projects in the Canadian province of Québec. The contract guarantees a minimum purchase capacity of 748 MW.

enXco Announces Signed Agreement Between Parent Company EDF Energies Nouvelles and Clipper for 67.5 MW of Turbines

enXco announces that its parent company, EDF Energies Nouvelles has signed an agreement with Clipper Turbine Works, a subsidiary of US manufacturer Clipper Windpower, to supply 27 wind turbines, each with 2.5 MW in capacity, to build the first tranche of the La Ventosa wind farm in Mexico.
