Renewable Energy Plays Big Role on Earth Day
renewable energy is set to take center stage tomorrow as Earth Day activities take place across the United States. In San Francisco, the city’s Budget & Finance Committee will be voting on what would be California’s largest solar photovoltaic power project – a 5-megawatt, 25,000 panel system covering the equivalent of 12 football fields on the rooftop of the Sunset Reservoir at Ortega Street and 24th Avenue.
