Europe’s Policymakers Sign up for a New Offshore Transmission Grid

If Europe is to achieve its carbon reduction commitments, a third of Europe’s electricity will need to come from renewables by 2020, with wind power accounting for as much as 20% of the total supply. By 2030, wind power alone could provide a third of Europe’s electricity – and half by 2050.
