We are privileged to have a leading Washington DC attorney, Sheila Hollis, present on the US climate change legislation at the time of the Copenhagen climate conference. Coupled with her talk, we have outstanding operatic performers, Mary Dunleavy and Philip Cutlip, will perform accompanied by Thomas Muraco, an internationally renown accompanist.

Clipper Supplies 67 MW of Wind Turbines for Mexican Project

Clipper Windpower Inc. is in the process of exporting 27 2.5-megawatt (MW) wind turbines to Mexico, backed by a US $80.66 million direct loan from the Export-Import Bank of the United States (Ex-Im Bank). It is the first export of Clipper’s wind technology outside of the United States. It also is the first Ex-Im Bank project financing for a wind power transaction, and the first large U.S. wind technology sale in Latin America.

OU Spirit Wind Agreement Approved By OCC

OG&E announced that the Oklahoma Corporation Commission has approved the 101-megawatt (MW) OU Spirit wind farm project. The Commission order approved the agreement which also assigns to OG&E’s customers the proceeds from the sales of the wind farm’s renewable energy credits, including credits purchased by the University of Oklahoma.
